The Commenter of the Week
On Saturday of each week, Will and Anita will choose the commenter of the week and award a lovely prize. We decided to start giving out prizes because we appreciate the clever and thoughtful responses that you’ve made to this blog. It’s nice to have these little exchanges, and we want to show our appreciation.
And what better way to show our appreciation than to pit you against one another in competition! If our friendships are about anything, it’s one-up-manship. So we’ll announce the first Commenter of the Week tomorrow, on this blog.
Hmmm. I guess I’ll need to add a Hall of Fame to BakkerBugle.com soon.

I feel like now our comments have to be of a higher quality. That’s a lot of pressure & long range power from oversea interests, but I digress. I am also concerned about the quality of these prizes. I mean it’s not going to be crazy gadgets from Menards or Home Depot like an funky bendy bunge cord or a flashlight bookmark. I don’t know if I will be able to resist the challenge though no matter the prize. I can say that I especially liked the blog with Robin Sparkles & also the reaching into the mind of the locals in the unending rain vs man vs umbrella saga. Needless to say even though I am not an avid commenter (yet), I am an avid reader & big fan & hopeful visitor. I hope I don’t become disqualified for prizes based on my runon sentences & bag grammar. I’m going to take a different tact than Sharon. Instead of higher quality posts, I plan on making a higher volume of crappier comments. More entries, more chance to win!!!
