You&#8217;ve seen plenty of <a href=\"http:\/\/bakkerbugle.com\/blog\/2009\/07\/23\/tour-de-france-photos-with-descriptions\/\">photos<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/bakkerbugle.com\/blog\/2009\/07\/28\/more-tour-photos\/\">our trip to Stage 14<\/a>, but you haven&#8217;t seen the video. In this post, we&#8217;ll give you that, plus news about the response in Luxembourg to their favorite sons&#8217; performances. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>First, the movies that Anita shot at Stage 14. Below, the caravan as it passes through Sundhoffen. On July 30th, Luxembourg welcomed home Kim Kirchen, Frank Schleck, Andy Schleck, and hosted many other cyclists from the Tour de France. The Gala included ceremonies, a short race, and general adulation. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/willbakker\/sets\/72157621836252617\/\">The short photoset is on Flickr<\/a>, as usual. It is highly recommended that you watch the video below, for the commemorative song if nothing else.<br \/>\n<object width=\"500\" height=\"405\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/oCGqJr3I0Xk&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1&#038;rel=0&#038;color1=0x234900&#038;color2=0x4e9e00&#038;border=1\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/oCGqJr3I0Xk&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1&#038;rel=0&#038;color1=0x234900&#038;color2=0x4e9e00&#038;border=1\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"500\" height=\"405\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>Finally, a review of recent cycling news translated from <em>L&#8217;essentiel<\/em>, the free daily newspaper here:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lessentiel.lu\/rechercher\/story\/23548303\">Two days before the Gala in Luxembourg:<\/a> French sporting newspaper, <em>L&#8217;equipe<\/em>, reports that Lance Armstrong wants to bring Andy Schleck from Saxobank to Armstrong&#8217;s new team for next year&#8217;s Tour de France.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lessentiel.lu\/rechercher\/story\/17563007\">One day before the Gala:<\/a> <em>L&#8217;equipe<\/em> states that negotiations are ongoing between Andy Schleck and Armstrong&#8217;s new Radio Shack team. There are two obstacles to the deal: Andy Schleck (and his brother Frank) are under contract with Saxobank through 2010, and Radio Shack may not want to hire Frank at all.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lessentiel.lu\/rechercher\/story\/14371257\">The day of the Gala:<\/a> <em>L&#8217;essentiel<\/em> reports that both Schleck brothers will remain with Saxobank through 2010, as confirmed by their manager. Whew!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lessentiel.lu\/rechercher\/story\/14637609\">Just yesterday:<\/a> Team Saxobank will bring on yet another Luxembourgish cyclist, Laurent Didier, with a two-year contract.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Andy Schleck crashed on the wet roads of last weekend&#8217;s San Sebastian classic.
