The video consists of a horse-drawn carriage ride down Fitzwilliam Street, heading northeast from the intersection with Leeson Street. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clipov.net\/pic\/u2+%5Bthe_sweetest_thing%5D+1998+2-55+vault_tv+clear.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>In other words, it&#8217;s right through our neighborhood. And it&#8217;s a pretty good representation of what it feels like to go down that street today. (Well, without the marching bands and elephants most days.)<\/p>\n<p>YouTube <a href=\"http:\/\/ie.youtube.com\/watch?v=gHbxq9gGe6I\">has the video<\/a>. In that version, Bono passes closest to our home right after the banner that reads &#8220;I&#8217;m Really Sorry&#8221; at about 1:56. The next thing you see, behind the violinists on the flatbed truck, is Fitzwilliam Square, the private park across from our place.<\/p>\n<p>The video doesn&#8217;t get much past that. I bet they chose to film down our section of Fitzwilliam Street because further down, you get to Merrion Square and the ESB building. Although Merrion Square is more famous, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aidan.co.uk\/photo7677.htm\">the ESB building breaks up the architectual impact<\/a> of all those Georgian residences.<\/p>\n<p>Another YouTube video: <a href=\"http:\/\/ie.youtube.com\/watch?v=H8HCi-SJyuw\">biking down Fitzwilliam<\/a>.
