As evening approached, we had a scare, but you&#8217;ll have to get through the entire set to see it! <a href=\"http:\/\/flickr.com\/photos\/willbakker\/sets\/72157609132847598\/\">See our set of photos for the afternoon of the 27th.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In other news about ancient Rome, <!--more--> a consortium of research institutions recently completed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.romereborn.virginia.edu\/gallery.php#images_2_0\">a wonderful simulation<\/a> of what the Roman Forum would have looked like in its day. There&#8217;s even <a href=\"http:\/\/www.readwriteweb.com\/archives\/ancient_rome_comes_to_google_earth.php\">a sophisticated add-on<\/a> for Google Earth. If you&#8217;re not familiar with that application, Spiegel Online published <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spiegel.de\/fotostrecke\/fotostrecke-37138.html\">a series of screenshots<\/a> for your enjoyment.
